If you are thinking of selling on eBay you need to know which items are in demand. You can sell anything on eBay but I would rather sell what is in high demand. There are a few free tools that you can use to find the top selling items on eBay and this article will explain each of them.
Tool 1 - eBay Pulse is a free tool offered by eBay that will show you the top ten searches on eBay within a particular product category. If you want to sell comic books on eBay then use eBay Pulse to see which comic books people are searching for. Once you know what people are searching for then you need to see how many people are successful at selling the items.
Tool 2 - The eBay advanced search tool will allow you to see completed listings. So type in a particular comic book that you found to be in demand and see how many listings completed in a sale versus the number of listings that completed without a sale. You want to make sure that you pick a product that is ending in a high percentage of sales. Once you have this figured out then you need to view the stores or listings to see the exact details about this product.
Tool 3 - In the eBay completed listings you need to view the details of the listings and observe the titles being used in the listings. Basically you want to model your listings after the successful listings.
Once you know what is in demand then find a product supplier. This can be difficult but not impossible.
